I’m creating "to-do"s in different places - different boards. Is there a way to see “everything” on one calendar view, no matter which board it was created in?

I see what you mean, but that would not be possible for now, as that feature has yet to be developed.
It’s a Workspace Overview that will allow you to see all your items (tasks, whatever they might be) from all your boards.
For now, you’ll have to visit each individual board in order to see your to-do tasks.
I myself am looking forward to this feature as well, hopefully we’ll see it fully planned and moved onto “to do” stage in the near future.
