Default profile picture

The honest truth is that no one on my team is going to upload a profile picture. Last night was the first time I actually spent the time to assign tasks to people, normally more than one person to a task. As I was going through adding people, I found it a little frustrating not being able to glance and see “did I already put him on task ‘x’ that needs to be done at the same time as task ‘y’ that I’m assigning right now?”

If we could get a semi-unique default picture, like discourse colored letter or GitHubs little diagram thing, that would be awesome.

Hi @Maveric100, that is a great idea and I can see how that could be frustrating. We’ve already thought about it so it’s probably going to happen soon.

It would be great to at least provide the admin the ability to add team member profile pictures at will

Great idea! Showing the initials and a individual background color would be sufficient I think
