Different Columns for Different sections?

In the content calendar, can you not have different columns in each section? If I add to one it’s added to all and if I hide in one it’s hidden in all.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding the best way to use it, are there are in depth walkthroughs out there somewhere?

Welcome to our CF!

You can have different columns in each folder.

You’ll just need to ‘Group By’ different (label) attribute. I’m guessing, for now, you have one label and you’re trying to edit tags under it.

You’ll need to have two different label attributes with (different) / unique set of tags under them.

Does this make sense?

Ok - so to be sure I’m clear. I need different folders on the left hand side in order to have different columns. Every section within a folder has to have the same columns?

Hey @Tedscearcy,

Sections inside a single folder are ‘Tabs’.

You can have different columns in Tabs, as well.

So, then two ‘Label attributes’ with different tags. Let’s say:

  • Label A (Tag 1, 2, 3)
  • Label B (Tag 4, 5, 6)

Then, inside a single folder, two tabs (top of the screen):

  • 1st tab (Group by Label A) --> Three columns (1, 2, 3)
  • 2nd tab (Groub by Label B) --> Three columns (4, 5, 6)
