Is there a way to format the phone field so that I can just type in numbers (ex: 1234567890) and it automatically formats them to (123) 456-7890?

This has been suggested a few times already and I can see it in one way, shape and form as a suggestion on our roadmap ( here feel free to vote for it as it will increase it’s importance and potentially move it forward. ), but - unfortunately, for now - that is not possible. 
You can most certainly do it manually, like adding brackets or adding a plus sign (depending on where in the world you are), but other than that, I am afraid there isn’t another option.
I’ll myself also vote for this feature, as it might be something that’s easy to implement and bring on as an improvement to infinity.
