Formulas: row, rows, column, columns - what do they do?

Hi there,
when scrolling through all possible formulas, I found those 4 entries:
row
rows
column
columns
When I use them in an actual table, all they do is return the value 1. I didn’t find any definition of what they are supposed to do in the quick guide, can you please let me know?

Thanks
Reinhard

Hello @reinhard_sellmer, I believe these formulas will have more sense in Excel (we are using a formula library similar to Excel with some modifications) - but for these, I don’t see how they would work in Infinity.

Here is an explanation for ROW formula in Excel: “The Excel ROW function returns the row number for a reference. For example, ROW(C5) returns 5, since C5 is the fifth row in the spreadsheet. When no reference is provided, ROW returns the row number of the cell which contains the formula.”
