Impossible to change Source Folder in item atributes view

When you have an Item open, it’s not possible to change the Source Folder to another folder. This would be specially helpful when creating new tasks in Table View.

Can you please check if this is (should be) possible? Thank you!

Hey @Tayshiro,

Source Folder is a default attribute, and the value of that attribute is the folder a certain item is located in.

So if you have two folders:

  • Folder A --> When an item is located in this folder, that item’s Source Folder value would be ‘folder A’)
  • Folder B --> When an item is located in this folder, that item’s Source Folder value would be ‘folder B’)

Does that make sense?

Yes it does, but when I’m in a Kanban overview, I can easily change the folder by just dragging and dropping to a different column. Although it is a default attribute, it’s possible to change in some views, that’s why I asked.

My suggestion is: when clicking in source folder atribute of an open Item, a popup window with “Do you wish to move this item to a differnt folder?” might open and give a “move” feature inside that window.
