Currently an attribute can only be required on a form. I think if an attribute is required it should be required across all views. When someone adds an item in any view a required attribute should be required in that view before it is saved.
I agree. I need the same functionality.
I hope you consider to include it.

Thank you for the suggestion and I agree it could be extremely valuable to some use cases if not all.
This could also be a toggle on and off feature just like in the form!
