Manually Type In Date

Hi There,

Can you manually type in a date in a date field?

I am trying to add birthdate and hired dates to an employee database board for example and I can’t manually type in a date. I have to choose from the calendar pop up. I usually love that feature but when I am trying to get a date 50+ years in the past it takes forever to go that far back.

So can you manually type in a date? Can this feature be added or is there a work around?

Hey @tsilva,

Unfortunately, you can only input a date with a ‘Date picker’, but we have a suggestion in the pipeline to insert a date manually.

For now, you can click on the month/year at the top of the picker, and it’s a bit quicker for insert.
