Using chrome on my android phone, I cannot paste plain text into edit fields on items. On android browsers, you typically position your caret in the text field where you want to paste, long-click/hold and then a menu pops up letting you paste what’s in the device clipboard.
What I’m seeing is that long-press is not resulting in any normal text edit menus popping up, sort of like some right click handling is smothering normal browser events…or the components are not input fields or contenteditable tags.
This issue with pasting text into text field (long text for example) has been fixed. While on your android phone click or double click on the field, an teardrop should appear you can click on it and get additional options like “select all” and “paste”. (huawei p20lite)
On an iPhone ( 12 pro) you will need to either click once or press and hold for the options to open up.
