When downloading attachment keep original file name

#1

When I download a file attachment from a card, the downloaded file gets an automatic generated non-descriptive file name e.g. qqnzJ2nwZ7dUOEnDtKBsFdT05FR9ZzaURrfGGMUY.xlsx

I’d rather have the original file name of the uploaded attachment, which is available when you click to just (pre)view the attachement.

Hey guys, @ton, @Vito, @autax,

We’ve crossed this before, but I’ll try to see if it’s possible to fix this issue during the weekend.

It’s in the suggestion queue/backlog, for sure.

Thanks for your input!

While the main thing is fixed I just noticed that when your in pdf preview and use the download button right next to the print button, the original file name is not suggested automatically.

Hey @micck,

Can you give me a screenshot of what you mean?

I’m previewing a PDF file in Infinity, and can’t seem to find the issue.

Also the pdf preview name is not the original one:

Thanks for the images, bud!

I really appreciate that.

I’ve forwarded the issues to the dev team and opened a support ticket
