When in task list mode, it would be nice if i could hold shift, select multiple tasks, and change / bulk edit the assignee, labels, etc instead of having to edit each one individually.

A great point!
This is definitely going to be a part of the Bulk edit/Multiple select feature + arrow/keyboard shortcuts.
As far as it’s in my knowledge, it’s going to be built in Q3 for sure.
